HOW TO PRAY THE ROSARY

STEP-BY-STEP GUIDANCE

  1. Holding the Crucifix, make the Sign of the Cross, and say the Sign of the Cross and then the Apostles’ Creed.
  2. On the first bead, say the Our Father.
  3. Say one Hail Mary on each of the next three beads for faith, hope, and charity.
  4. Say the Glory be to the Father.
  5. At the beginning of each of the five decades, state the Mystery, and say the Our Father.
  6. On each of the 10 beads in the decade, say a Hail Mary while meditating on the Mystery.
  7. At the end of each decade, say the Glory be to the Father and Fatima Prayer.
  8. At the end of the fifth decade, say the Hail Holy Queen, The Memorare, St. Michael, and Litany of Loreto.
